uMngeni Water Services (UWS) invites suitably qualified and experienced Facilitators, Assessors and Moderators to apply for fixed-term appointments to support the delivery of accredited training programmes within the water and wastewater sector. Facilitators must be ETDP SETA–accredited Facilitators in terms of Unit Standard 117871. Applicants performing assessment functions must also be accredited as Assessors in terms of the ETDP SETA Assessor Unit Standard 115753 and be registered with the EWSETA.
The 3 courses are Water and Wastewater Treatment Process related, NQF Level 02, 03 and 04.
The appointments are for a 03 months fixed-term period, from 1 March 2026 to 31 May 2026, aligned to the delivery of three structured training courses. The programmes will be delivered on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday from 08h00 to 16h00.
Two of the courses will be delivered in Durban, with one course delivered in Pietermaritzburg. Successful applicants must therefore be available to facilitate training at the designated locations for the full duration of the contract period.
UWS is committed to strengthening skills capacity within the water sector through the transfer of practical knowledge and industry experience. Retired or semi-retired facilitators with relevant qualifications, facilitator registration, and training experience are strongly encouraged to apply, as are active practitioners with demonstrated facilitation, assessment, and learner support capabilities.
