uMngeni Water Services was proud to participate in the Department of Labour’s Job Fest, hosted at Ethekwini College’s Cato Manor Campus. The event served as a vital platform to connect young jobseekers with career opportunities and skills development initiatives across various sectors, including water and sanitation.
As part of our commitment to youth empowerment and capacity-building in the sector, UWS engaged with attendees to share information about career pathways, internship programmes, and the role of the uMngeni Water Services Institute for Learning (UWSIL). The event highlighted the importance of investing in local talent to build a more sustainable and inclusive water sector for the future.
We extend our appreciation to the Department of Labour and Ethekwini College for hosting this impactful event.
